Can You Become A Doctor If You Take Mathematical Literacy?
No, you cannot become a doctor if you took Maths Literacy in high school. All universities require Maths with a high pass mark, usually 75% or above, to be considered for a Degree programme in Medicine.
However, you can do a bridging course in Maths at a TVET college. This can allow you to be able to apply to study Medicine if you pass with a high enough mark.
Can I Become A Lawyer With Maths Literacy?
Yes, you can study Law if you took Maths Literacy. Most universities require a final Matric mark of 60% or above for Maths Literacy to be considered for a Law Degree.
Can You Become An Architect With Maths Literacy?
No, you cannot study Architecture with Maths Literacy. Architecture Degree programmes require Maths for your application to be considered.
Can You Become An Interior Designer With Maths Literacy?
Yes, you can study Interior Design with Maths Literacy. Universities that offer courses in this discipline do not require Maths for you to apply to study this course.
Can You Become A Nurse With Maths Literacy?
Yes, you can study Nursing with Maths Literacy. Most universities will accept Maths Literacy with a pass mark of above 50% for a Bachelor’s Degree in nursing.
