The length of this course is 12 months. The entry requirements are that you have your Matric Certificate (NSC – National Senior Certificate), or your Matric Equivalent (SC – Amended Senior Certificate). The subjects you will study are as follows:

Marketing Management: NATED N6 National Certificate:

The length of this course is 12 months. The entry requirements are that you have completed your Marketing Management: NATED N5 National Certificate. The subjects you will study are as follows:

Marketing Management: NATED N6 National Diploma

This is the final step to get your NATED N6 National Diploma. This course is an 18 month practical course, designed to give you the work experience you’ll need to learn how to apply the theoretical knowledge from your NATED N4, N5, and N6 National Certificate courses. You will need to track your work hours and progress through these 18 months. You will be provided with a Marketing Management Logbook to do this. You will place yourself, or be placed, with a matching company or business through the iWIL Free Placement Services, for you to complete your 18 months of practical studies. Once you have completed these 18 months, you will submit your Logbook for review and approval.

Marketing is a valuable skill that is always in demand. In South Africa, Marketing Manager has been one of the most in-demand jobs since April 2021. There are also many different jobs available using this qualification. 

What kind of jobs can you get in Marketing? 

Marketing Assistant

A Marketing Assistant is in charge of helping with data collection and analysis for the purposes of marketing research. They may be put in charge of minor duties such as administrative duties. They will also be responsible for pricing any possible marketing campaigns for the company. 
Payscale: R54 000 – R266 000 per year. 

Marketing Manager

A Marketing Manager is in charge of supervising and creating all marketing campaigns for their company. They will monitor the campaigns and see what aspects of different campaigns do well, which need to do better and improve their marketing campaigns accordingly. They will also be a part of developing marketing research studies. 
Payscale: R124 000 – R796 000 per year. 

Marketing Consultant

A Marketing Consultant is in charge of all minor marketing duties. They will be in charge of running the company social media accounts, as well as helping with finishing touches on marketing packages. They will also be the middle-man between the design team and the legal team for campaigns. 
Payscale: R86 000 – R941 000 per year. 

Marketing Coordinator 

A Marketing Coordinator will work very closely with the marketing design team. Together they are in charge of coming up with ideas for all marketing campaigns, including presentations, social media, TV advertisements, and more. 
Payscale: R99 000 – R349 000 per year. 

Social Media Manager

A Social Media Manager is in charge of running all of the company social media accounts and webpages. They respond to questions and concerns, as well as posting company statements. 
Payscale: R41 000 – R373 000 per year. 

Accounting/Bookkeeping Assistant 

An Assistant Bookkeeper or Accountant is in charge of helping keep all financial records for the company. and some might handle cash as well. They will also help to prepare reports on how the company money is spent and how the company budget is faring, in order for management personnel to make financial decisions, and assist with filling out company tax forms during tax season.  
Payscale: R57 000 – R221 000 per year.
