Human Resource Management: NATED N6 National Diploma

To receive your Human Resource Management: NATED N6 National Diploma, you will have to complete 18 months of practical work experience.

Entry requirements for this course are that you have completed your Human Resource Management: NATED N6 National Certificate. Your educational provider, in partnership with the Department of Higher Education and Training, will place you with a business matching your studies, using the free iWILL placement service. Here you can complete your practical work experience. 

You will be provided with a Logbook with which to log your work hours and progress. You will submit this at the end of your 18 months, and it will be reviewed for approval.

Human Resources Assistant 

An HR Assistant is in charge of completing administrative paperwork regarding new hires, terminations, benefits, and other workplace programmes. They are responsible for the facilitation of HR processes that are run by an HR Manager, communication with employees, and representation of their company in all staff matters. 
Payscale: R61 000 – R269 000 per year. 

Human Resources Officer 

An HR Officer is in charge of helping the company develop and improve policies implemented in relation to employees. This includes things such as accessibility, diversity, workplace conditions, and much more. 
Payscale: R120 000 – R391 000 per year. 

Human Resources Manager 

An HR Manager is in charge of overseeing HR Officers and Assistants and ensuring all workplace programmes comply with local, state, and federal laws, as well as seeing to things such as company insurance, and employee benefits and initiatives. 
Payscale: R155 000 – R793 000 per year. 

Human Resources Generalist 

An HR Generalist is in charge of helping the HR Manager and Assistant with making decisions regarding new hires, or with maintaining good relationships. They may also be put in charge of general duties such as payroll, and training.

Benefits Administrator 

A Benefits Administrator is in charge of maintaining records and procedures for the administration process, data input for company databases, and they will often work closely with all HR personnel, giving HR-related information and advice to the company employees. They must research, recommend, and implement benefit plans that give the best value, and will also serve as the primary contact for third-party administrators. 
Payscale: R144 000 – R378 000 per year. 

Employee Relations Manager 

An Employee Relations Manager will work as part of the HR department within the company. They are in charge of facilitating and maintaining positive employee relations, as well as analysing employee relations trends, and implementing ways to improve poor relations trends. They are in charge of motivating employees to achieve company goals within the deadlines and are in charge of handling and resolving any workplace conflict in a timely and positive way. 
Payscale: R101 000 – R824 000 per year. 

Payroll Manager 

A Payroll Manager is in charge of making certain all timesheets are correctly filled in, and all pay calculations are correct. They oversee the day-to-day payroll processes and make sure that all documentation is processed on time. They are also in charge of answering any questions relating to timekeeping and payroll for the company. 
Payscale: R210 000 – R779 000 per year. 

Recruitment Specialist 

A Recruitment Specialist is usually in charge of finding people to fill managerial positions or positions that require a certain level of skill and education. They also work closely with the HR department within the company, or, in larger companies, there will be an entire department dedicated to recruitment. 
Payscale: R60 000 – R521 000 per year.
