Our colleges offer a wide variety of courses in many fields of study. We have compiled a brief overview of the courses available at each of our colleges. Our colleges are:

Bellview Institute Of Distance Learning
Bellview Institute of Distance Learning offers four different types of courses. The courses are all accredited, and Bellview Institute of Distance Learning is accredited to offer these courses. The courses are:
- NATED Courses
- ICB Courses
- CIMA
- Matric Programmes
NATED Courses
NATED courses go up to the Diploma level. They are internationally recognised and highly regarded in South Africa. Bellview Institute of Distance Learning has seven fields of study offered in NATED courses. These are as follows:
ICB Courses
ICB courses are fully accredited and are internationally recognised. They are highly regarded in South Africa and provide students with scarce skills that are in high demand in South Africa. There are three different study streams offered with ICB courses:
CIMA Courses
CIMA courses work alongside ICB courses to take your qualification to a Degree level. With an ICB qualification, you can apply to study a CIMA course and continue from a Diploma to a Degree.
Matric Programmes
Matric programmes at Bellview Institute of Distance Learning are offered as an opportunity for those who were unable to obtain their Matric. Whether you failed Matric or did not have the opportunity to complete high school, the Matric programmes are available to help you get your Matric.
Matric College
Matric College focuses primarily on helping you to get your Matric. They also offer courses you can study after Matric as well as courses you can study without Matric.

Our college focuses on these Matric programmes to help you get your Matric Certificate. No matter the reason you were unable to obtain it, we are here to help you.
NATED Courses
NATED courses are fully accredited and highly regarded in South Africa. NATED courses are also internationally recognised. Matric College offers NATED courses in seven study streams:
ICB Courses
ICB courses are designed to equip students with scarce skills, which are skills in high demand in South Africa. Matric College offers three streams of study in ICB courses:
Short Courses
Short courses offer the opportunity to study without Matric. Some courses require Grade 10 to apply, and some are open-access. Open-access means that all you need to be able to apply is to be over the age of 16 and be able to understand, read and write in English.
Skills Academy
Skills Academy focuses on skills-based courses that you can study without Matric. All you need for these courses is to be over the age of 16 and be able to understand, read and write in English. They also offer accredited NATED, ICB and CIMA courses, as well as Matric Programmes for anyone over the age of 21.
Short Courses
Short courses are designed to equip you with the basic skills necessary to be workplace-ready as quickly and efficiently as possible. These courses aim to help you be able to work without needing to get your Matric first. There are many study streams offered in short courses:

NATED Courses
Skills Academy offers fully accredited NATED courses in seven streams of study. NATED courses are internationally recognised and go up to the Diploma level. The seven study streams that are offered are:
ICB Courses
ICB courses are internationally recognised and highly regarded in South Africa. These courses aim to provide you with scarce skills, which are skills in high demand in South Africa. There are three study streams offered in ICB courses at Skills Academy:
CIMA Courses
CIMA courses are designed to help you take your ICB studies even further. With CIMA, you can take your qualification from a Diploma level to a Degree level.
Matric Programmes
Matric programmes at Skills Academy aim to give those over the age of 21 the chance to get their Matric. Whether you failed at the end of high school and would like to upgrade to a pass, or if you did not get the opportunity to complete Matric and would like to do Adult Matric, Skills Academy can help you achieve your goal.
Ember Academy
Ember Academy focuses on furthering your studies, whether you got your Matric or not. They offer accredited ICB and CIMA courses, as well as many short courses that require only Grade 10 to apply.
ICB Courses
Accredited ICB courses are highly regarded in South Africa. They are also internationally recognised and go up to the Diploma level. There are three ICB streams of study offered at Ember Academy:
CIMA Courses
Courses with CIMA are designed to work with your ICB qualification. CIMA courses go up to the Degree level. Once you have successfully completed your ICB qualification, you can take your qualification from the Diploma level to the Degree level with CIMA courses.
Short Courses
Ember Academy also offers a number of short courses for those who did not get their Matric but would like to do something other than an ICB course. Ember Academy offers many streams of study with short courses:

The Learning Group focuses on more creative short courses for those who have not completed Matric but would like to work in the creative field. We also offer accredited ICB courses.

About NATED Courses
NATED courses are created by the Department of Higher Education and Training, and are accredited by the Quality Council for Trades and Occupations (QCTO). This means that they are recognised as formal qualifications in South Africa. NATED courses are also recognised internationally.
Business Management
Business management is a great course to study if you are looking to be an entrepreneur, a small business owner, an office administrator, or anything else to do with management in business.
There are four levels to this course, going up to the Diploma level. This course requires you to have a Matric Certificate: National Senior Certificate or a Senior Certificate (Amended)to apply.
Educare
Educare is a good course to study if you work well with children and if you are interested in helping children in their earliest stages of development. With this course, you could be an au pair, a preschool teacher, or many other things to do with teaching and caring for children.
There are four levels to this course, going up to the Diploma level. This course requires you to have a Matric Certificate: National Senior Certificate or a Senior Certificate (Amended) apply.
Financial Management
Studying Financial Management is an excellent way to begin your career in the finance industry. Whether you would like to be an accountant, a bookkeeper, or an office manager, a financial management course can help you get there.
There are four levels to this course, going up to the Diploma level. This course requires you to have a Matric Certificate: National Senior Certificate or a Senior Certificate (Amended) to apply.
Human Resource Management
There are many opportunities available when you study this course. You can help employees and companies as a Human Resources Manager, a Labour Relations Officer, or many other things.
There are four levels to this course, going up to the Diploma level. This course requires you to have a Matric Certificate: National Senior Certificate or a Senior Certificate (Amended) to apply.
Legal Secretary
A legal secretary qualification will allow you to be many things as well as a Legal Secretary. You could also be a General Receptionist or a Personal Assistant. There are options available to you when you have this qualification.
There are four levels to this course, going up to the Diploma level. This course requires you to have a Matric Certificate: National Senior Certificate or a Senior Certificate (Amended) apply.
Management Assistant
A management assistant course will allow you to be able to help with a managerial position without the full responsibility of being a manager. A Management Assistant can assist with many managerial duties, but will not have to take on the full managerial role.
There are four levels to this course, going up to the Diploma level. This course requires you to have a Matric Certificate: National Senior Certificate or a Senior Certificate (Amended) to apply.
Marketing Management
Marketing management is a great way to help the company you work for keep their advertising and products current and relevant to their target audience. This qualification can help you to help the company keep growing and doing better.
There are four levels to this course, going up to the Diploma level. This course requires you to have a Matric Certificate: National Senior Certificate or a Senior Certificate (Amended) to apply.
About ICB Courses
ICB courses are created and accredited by the Institute of Certified Bookkeepers (ICB) and are also accredited by QCTO. This means they are recognised as formal qualifications in South Africa. ICB courses are also internationally recognised.
Business Management
This course can help you get to the managerial position you aspire to. This course has three levels, going up to the Diploma level. This course requires you to have completed Grade 11 to be able to apply.
Financial Accounting
Financial accounting is a highly sought after skill in South Africa, and this course can help you be a top candidate for employers. This course has four levels, going up to the Diploma level. This course requires you to have completed Grade 10 to be able to apply.
Office Administration
A qualification in this area can open up many career options. You could be an Office Manager, a Receptionist, or a Management Assistant. Whatever your aim, this qualification can help you get there. This qualification has three levels and requires you to have your Matric to be able to apply.
About Matric Programmes
Matric Programmes are an opportunity for those who would like to get or improve their Matric to do so.
Whether you wrote Matric and failed, wrote Matric and passed but are unsatisfied with your results, or if you did not complete high school and write Matric, there is a Matric programme that can help you.
Matric Rewrite
Matric rewrite is offered to those under the age of 21 who would like to improve their Matric marks. You may rewrite a maximum of four subjects. These must be subjects you wrote for your Matric final exams, you cannot change subjects for a rewrite.
Note that if you failed Matric, you will only be allowed to do a rewrite if improving the marks of four subjects will allow you to pass. If you will still fail Matric overall even with four improved subjects, you will not be allowed to rewrite.
There is no limit to the number of times you can rewrite, as long as you are still under the age of 21. To apply for a Matric Rewrite, you will need the following:
- A copy of your Statement of Results
- A certified copy of your ID
Matric Upgrade
Matric Upgrade is offered to those over the age of 21 who would still like to improve their Matric marks. You may upgrade as many subjects as you would like to. You may also choose to change any or all of your elective subjects.
There is no limit to the number of times you can upgrade your Matric. You may apply as early as 19, but you must be over the age of 21 to write the exams because you will write the Adult Matric exams. To apply for a Matric Upgrade, you will need the following:
- A copy of your Statement of Results
- A certified copy of your ID
Adult Matric
Adult Matric is offered to anyone over the age of 21 who did not get the opportunity to complete their high school education.
Once you have successfully completed your Adult Matric, you will receive your Senior Certificate. This works exactly the same way as the National Senior Certificate you would receive if you completed high school. To apply for Adult Matric, you will need the following:
- A copy of your Grade 9 report or equivalent
- A certified copy of your ID
